“To be loved, is to be love”. What I mean is to love yourself. You have love yourself in order to receive and feel love. I spend many years chasing what I thought love was, everything but me. Going overseas took me out of my confront zone away from everything I know. Little to my surprise when I return home I was a different person. I started to feel numb and I couldn’t really gather emotions because of the change that I encountered overseas. Since coming home I’ve got reintroduced back to painting, I found passion in doing hair, made peace with running, got in touch with my inner self and discover my super power, and most importantly I started gardening. I know that one day I help change the world and give back what’s missing. LOVE. I graduated from CCCC in December 2022 with an Associate’s in Art for Cosmetology. I ran cross country for two seasons. We are the first sport team in the school’s history to win two regional championships two years in a row. I’m a current Student at Fayetteville State University where I will be studying Music Performance minoring Business admission. I have also been serving in the North Carolina National Guard for 10 years. Would you believe me if I told you that I was a witch?
